HOA 3 Judge/Volunteer Meeting October 2nd

Greetings Judges and Volunteers for the 2011 Heart of America CrossFit Affiliate Competition!!!

First things first, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your willingness to contribute your time and energy at H.O.A 3 this November 4th-6th. The competition is fast approaching (It'll be here in just 6 weeks)! In an effort to be as prepared as possible on gameday, I'd like to invite you to attend an HOA Judge & Volunteer meeting at 3PM Sunday, October 2nd at CrossFit Springfield. At the meeting we'll designate each volunteer with a job or task for the event, discuss HOA logistics and layout, and answer any questions. For our judges, the plan for the evening is to brief you on all of the movement standards with 2011 HOA lead judge, Corey Lewis of CrossFit Valley Park. Corey was the head judge at 2010 HOA and will be making the trip to Springfield from St. Louis for the judging clinic.

Most of our volunteers are from CFS so travel won't be an issue. If you're from out of town or simply have another obligation on the evening of the 3rd and won't be able to make the meeting, we'll be sure to assign a sweet responsibility to you (something like "official HOA puke cleaner-upper") in your absence :) There are tons of tasks that will need to be done from now until Friday, November 4th!
